Jardin Des Plantes

The Jardin des Plantes is a beautiful park, stretching for 70 acres and located right along the Seine River.The park was founded nearly 4 centuries ago in 1635. Every year, this park attracts the attention of 500 thousand tourists. In the park, you can find gardens, libraries, greenhouses, art museums, and a menagerie, a zoo with exotic animals. These are all considered historical landmarks.

At this national park, you can walk, run, and cycle through 8 main trails. These trails are pretty intense so be warned. The length ranges from 4 to 10 mile hikes with an elevation range of 150 to 325 feet. If you choose to jike these trails, you will see amazing views, lush forests, and buildings centuries old.
